These terms govern your use of the Entoma iOS app, operated by Filip Kilter ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Entoma identifies insects from photos using AI and provides related species information. Identifications are best-effort estimates and can be wrong.
Never rely on the app to decide whether an insect, spider, or other creature is safe to touch, handle, or eat, or how to treat a bite or sting. Danger and allergy information in the app is general reference material, not professional advice. If you may have been bitten or stung by something dangerous, seek medical help immediately.
Entoma Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed to your Apple ID. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice; refunds are handled by Apple.
Free-tier scans are metered per install. You agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service, or to submit unlawful content for analysis.
The app, its content, and branding are ours or our licensors'. Photos you take remain yours; you grant us the limited right to process them to provide identifications, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including reliance on identifications; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.
We may update the app, these terms, or discontinue the service. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
